Make and Sell Merchandise

Alberta-based promotional products

During Alberta’s centennial, Alberta-based promotional product manufacturers were given the opportunity to create commemorative wares for Albertans and Alberta-visitors/

The Alberta Centennial Initiative invited companies obtain approval to design, produce, distribute and sell merchandise such as clothing, souvenirs, banners, flags, and other decorating items.

Successful companies had to be:

  • Alberta-based and Alberta-proud!
  • able to produce commemorative merchandise to be sold during Alberta's celebration period (September 1, 2004 to December 31, 2005)
  • able to produce diverse and affordable goods
  • willing to obtain approval to use the Alberta 2005 Centennial logo and to abide by the Centennial Logo Visual Guidelines to ensure its integrity is maintained
  • willing to obtain approval by the Alberta 2005 Centennial Initiative on proposed graphic design(s)
  • willing to obtain approval by the Alberta 2005 Centennial Initiative on all items proposed for sale
  • willing to accept all responsibility for inventory, warehousing, insurance, etc., and
  • eager to promote pride in our province's 100th anniversary.
