Alberta Tracks

A tour bus filled with Alberta performers rolled into ten communities during September and October as Alberta Tracks: A Centennial Music Celebration toured the province. The concerts were presented by the Government of Alberta as a continuation of centennial celebrations.

Featuring a line-up of six diverse acts, each concert offered a mix of musical styles, from classical pieces to alternative rock, from intimate singer-songwriters to contemporary country crooners. A different group of artists toured each weekend, bringing a total of 30 musical acts in on the celebration.

Alberta Tracks continued the celebration of Alberta artists during the centennial year, with events that have included Alberta Scene, Royal Visit concerts and the Alberta Spirit galas at the Jubilee Auditoria.

The concerts took place between September 9th and October 8th. Tickets were free and were available through the local community.
