As a kick-off to the Blueberry Festival and Alberta’s Centennial, Fort McMurray is hosting a ‘Picnic on the Island’. This country fair atmosphere will feature carnival rides, a farmers market and a family picnic. Look for a performance by homegrown talent Aaron Lines and a variety of other local musicians to entertain the centennial crowds.
