Calgarians are invited to come out on September 1 and celebrate the centennial in style! There will opportunities to savour food by many of the city's best restaurants, non-stop entertainment on three separate stages, birthday cake and historical district tours.

How to get here
It is highly recommended that visitors use Calgary Transit to get to the festival. The LRT stops right at Olympic Plaza (northbound) and City Hall or the Convention Centre (southbound).

Parking
Underground parking is available at City Hall, the Calgary Convention Centre, and the EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts. There are also outdoor pay lots along 9th and 10th Avenues SE.  Street parking is free south of 9th Avenue and elsewhere in downtown evenings after 6.

  • International Street Performer Festival with over 20 acts (Stephen Avenue Walk from Olympic Plaza to 1st St. SW)
  • Musical entertainment including Tariq, Jane Hawley, War Party, The Highwater Jug Band, DerRic Starlight, The Ramblin’ Ambassadors, Roaring Centennial Revue
  • 100 foot birthday cake
  • Sandstone Cowboys, EPCOR CENTRE’s 10-site roving play (Stephen Avenue Walk from Bankers Hall to EPCOR CENTRE)
  • Fire box show and pyrotechnic display

      Reception  6:30 p.m.
      Pre-show 7:30 p.m., live gala 8:00 p.m.

      Host: Tom Jackson
      Jann Arden, Rebecca Jenkins and performances by various musical artists, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and a full choir.
