Small town, big fun! Everyone is welcome to a good old-fashioned party in Wainwright.

Time:
4:00 p.m.
Opening ceremonies begin at 5:00 p.m.
Local musical entertainment starts at 6:00 p.m., capped off with Corb Lund starting at
approximately 8:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Location:
Wallace Park - 1300 10A Street

Transportation/Parking:
Guests are encouraged to park on the streets back from the park and walk. Park and Ride will be available at the Peace Memorial Multiplex parking lots.

Types of entertainment:
A centennial party in the park with headlining act the Corb Lund Band. Come out to enjoy a heritage style carnival with food, games, and displays. The residents of Wainwright will also be making a huge cake in the shape of the province of Alberta.

Schedule of events:
4:00 pm
Kids activities begin. All other activities and displays open.

5:00 pm
Opening Ceremonies including the giant birthday cake and singing Happy Birthday to the province. 

6:00 - 6:30 pm
'Music of the Decades' including Tanner Frissell, The Bergerud Sisters with Mark Perkins, Sarah Seymour, Florence Foxwell and Section Eight.

8:20 pm
The Corb Lund Band

9:50 pm
FIREWORKS!
