Millennium Place -- $1 million
Millennium Place is a multi-purpose community recreation facility that received more than 2.4 million visits during 2004. Among other amenities, the complex includes two soccer fields, two regulation size ice rinks and one leisure ice surface; an aquatic centre with a wave pool and a 25-metre lap pool; a gymnasium; a fitness centre; and a children's play area.
