Discover Pre-Alberta History at Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park

Travel back in time to the days before Alberta was born with tipi raising, bannock making, Aboriginal games and traditional entertainment at History in the Hills - 2005 Centennial Celebration on June 18, 2005.

Meet the First Nations, Métis and North West Mounted Police who inhabited the Cypress Hills, and discover today's most significant Cypress Hills archaeology site at the Stampede Archaeology Site/ Elkwater Rodeo Grounds.
