Here's your chance to celebrate both the province's centennial and the rich cultural diversity that Asian-Canadians communities have brought Alberta. Presented by The Asia Pacific Accord of Canada (APAC), Asia Day 2005 marks the first time in Alberta that a multitude of dance and music groups representing the Asian continent will appear onstage together.
On October 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., head to the Stanley A. Milner Library in Edmonton to experience a FREE daytime exhibition, bazaar and films.
Then at 7:00 p.m., it's a night of Asian dance and music at The Horowitz Theatre, SUB Building, University of Alberta (2nd floor, 8900 - 114th Street). Tickets are $15 and available at Tix On the Square, Daily Books and Asia Books.
