In anticipation of our 100th year, Albertans have been appointed to act as Alberta Centennial Ambassadors to generate interest and participation in centennial celebrations.
Our Ambassadors were chosen for
- their visibility and credibility among their peers and the community,
- their passion for our province,
- how well they would incite enthusiasm and involvement in Alberta’s 2005 Centennial celebrations, and
- for being proud Alberta residents.
As a group, they represent all regions of the province, a variety of ages, and Alberta’s diverse business, community and cultural mosaics and interests.
