This was the first government project unveiled to commemorate the province’s 100th anniversary. The ATCO Tyrrell Learning Centre, funded by the Government of Alberta and supported by the ATCO Group, enables science education to take a giant step forward by providing the much-needed space to meet student demand and to begin developing future learning opportunities.
The ATCO Tyrrell Learning Centre is a museum addition that provides the space for educators to introduce students to the science of palaeontology in imaginative and engaging ways. The 16,500 square foot addition includes three classrooms, a hands-on workshop, an outdoor interpretive area and a distance-learning studio to link with students worldwide.
