Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park

Established in 1989, Cypress Hills Park is Canada’s first and only interprovincial park. It is covered in mixed forest and fescue grassland and stands out in the surrounding prairie landscape. Fort Walsh National Historic Site joined the partnership in 2000. A new visitor resource centre will provide programs on visitor information services, heritage interpretation and education and exhibits.
