The Government of Alberta marked the province's centennial by making an investment in its future. Implemented on January 1, 2005, the Alberta Centennial Education Savings (ACES) Plan was created to encourage parents to begin planning and saving as early as possible for their children’s post-secondary education.
ACES Plan grants contribute:
- $500 at birth
- $100 at 8 years
- $100 at 11 years
- $100 at 14 years
